Creating Community Agreements ATFIN Workshop

Often as space-holders—coaches, yoga teachers, facilitators, consultants, or wellness practitioners—we introduce Community Agreements at the start of an offering in order to set a tone and cultivate expectations. In this workshop hosted by ALL THE F*CK IN podcast cohosts Tristan Katz and Lauren Roberts, we’ll discuss how to bring ourselves more organically into the space by engaging in a practice of co-creating agreements rather than working with a predetermined set of intentions.

Throughout our time together, we’ll explore:

  • Agreements as a community care and accountability practice

  • Identifying and voicing needs so we can show up fully

  • Considerations for creating agreements live within a particular space/offering

  • Upholding agreements as a personal practice

  • Engaging and embodying the agreements both within our work and beyond

Through the Agreements framework created by Michelle C. Johnson and the folks at Dismantling Racism Works, along with reflection prompts and group discussion, this workshop will help you create and co-create your own, original community agreements and live into these practices.

Join us on Zoom—Friday, May 20th, 10-noon Pacific / 1-3pm Eastern.

For the sake of accessibility, this workshop will be recorded with closed captioning; a replay will be shared with those who register. Please attend live in order to make the most of this learning space.

Zoom links will be sent by Thursday, May 19th at noon Pacific. If registering after this time, you can expect to receive the link shortly before the workshop.
